Your last is yours.

Custom Lasts (customlasts.app, tyler@customlasts.app) is building an iPhone app that turns a short camera scan into a digital shoe last. A foot scan is biometric data. Under GDPR it is special-category data. We treat it that way everywhere, not only in the EU.

What we collect

When the app ships: camera frames used to build the last, derived measurements (length, girth, instep, arch), a 3D last mesh, and the consent choice you made. On this website: only an email you choose to send us via the waitlist form.

Default

Private. A last lives with you unless you tick “let makers see this last.” That opt-in is specific, informed, and revocable. We do not sell non-consented scans. We do not use scans to train public models.

Makers

If you opt in, consented makers may receive measurements and a last mesh so they can offer a better fit. You can revoke later. Revocation stops new sharing. It cannot unsay a last a maker already used to make you a pair.

Keeping it

Until the app ships, waitlist mail sits in our inbox so we can notify you. You can ask us to delete it. When the app ships, this policy will name processors, retention, and how to export or erase a last. Contact tyler@customlasts.app.
